Thrift Wood Christmas Trees is a family run business that was founded by David and Margaret Jarvis over 35 years ago. Set in our 75-acre woodland on the edge of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, all our trees are British-grown – and are usually available to buy from the last week in November, right up until XX December (or until we sell out!).

In our Thrift Wood Christmas Cabin, we have a sparkling selection of Christmas decorations and silk flower displays for your home, unusual gifts, and festive treats for our younger visitors. We also create stunning and unique door wreaths that are displayed for sale in the barn.

Thrift Wood Christmas Trees has been part of the local community for decades. Tradition, family and working with nature were at the heart of David’s founding vision – and as a family we carry these values forward together. David’s wife Margaret, his daughter Cerus, his granddaughter Ellanean, and of course the Christmas Tree Team are dedicated to bringing the festive magic into your family’s home.

So many of our regular customers have become friends, and we meet new generations each year. Many say a visit to Thrift Wood for a Christmas tree is the start of the festive season for their families, and we work hard every year to create an enchanting and magical experience outdoors in the barn, the marquee and our Christmas tree area in the wood, and indoors in our Christmas Cabin - all to help you welcome the season in.
